TOEIC Bridge Test
The TOEIC Bridge test measures test takers ability to listen and read everyday English. It’s a paper and pencil based test. The salient Features of TOEIC Bridge Test are given below
The TOEIC Bridge test takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, with:
- 25 minutes for Section I: Listening
- 35 minutes for Section II: Reading
- approximately 30 minutes to complete education and work history questionnaire
TOEIC Bridge Test Content
The TOEIC Bridge test is composed of 100 multiple-choice questions, broken into two sections:
Section I: ListeningYou will listen to recorded statements, questions, short conversations and short talks in English via audio recording or CD and answer 50 questions based on what you hear. There are three parts:
Part 1: Photographs (15 questions)
Part 2: Question-Response (20 questions)
Part 3: Short Conversations and Short Talks (15 questions)
Section II: ReadingYou will read single sentences as well as texts and then answer 50 questions based on what you read. There are two parts:
Part 4: Incomplete Sentences (30 questions)
Part 5: Reading Comprehension (20 questions)
TOEIC Bridge Test Scores
The TOEIC Bridge Test Scores are measured on the basis correctly marked answers by the candidate. The number of correct answers is converted to a scaled score. The score report provides Listening, Reading and total scaled scores. The total scaled score is made from adding the two scaled scores together. The TOEIC Bridge Test Scores are valid for a period of two years.
