Academic Grading System in Barbados
The present Barbados educational system of various institutions, schools and colleges, is based on the British model of education. This is one of the prime factors in growing as well as stabilizing the model of education in the country. This has also helped to focus on English language as the main subject and medium of instruction all across. The system has also produced students who can match their skills and performances with various top institutions outside the country.
Higher Education Grading System
The grading system constitutes of grade A onwards for outstanding to G for unsatisfactory. However the Universities and colleges have percentage marking systems. Caribbean Examination Council holds most examinations.
