Luxembourg Immigration Procedures
All International students who wish to pursue higher education, postdoctoral students and research in Luxembourg need to go through an immigration process. The following documents are needed by all international students depending on what exactly they are going to pursue and for how long they are staying:
- Letter of Acceptance
- Proof of Finances
- Health Certificate
- Valid Passport
- Proof of language proficiency
Depending on programme type you can apply for Short Term or Long Term Stay Visa. For example, for graduate studies you will need a Long Term Visa and for a certificate programme of 3 months duration you will need a short stay visa.
International students pursuing higher education in Luxembourg are allowed to join part-time job provided they fulfill the required criteria. Preferably 20hours a week are allowed to work. Also, you can work extra over weekends and holidays. Part Time Job will be highly to finance your studies.
