K 12 Education System Worldwide
Under K-12 Education students from Age 5/6 are enrolled. They complete 12 years of education at an age of 17/18/19 years. After this stage students are ready to chose for vocational education or college programme.
The education system consists of
- 5 year to 10 year old students enrolled in basic education / primary school education
- 11 year to 13 year old students are enrolled in junior school classes
- 14 and 15 year old students are enrolled in High School classes
- 16 and 17 year old students are enrolled in Senior High School classes
For K-12 education there are Public Schools, Private Schools, and Schools under Public-Private partnership. The school certificates are awarded by respective schools boards.
