GRE Subject Tests
The GRE Subject Tests measures skill sets in specific subject areas. Some universities and fellowship providers may require GRE Subject Test Score. The GRE Subject Tests is designed for students who have an undergraduate major or extensive background in one of these study disciplines:
- Chemistry
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Psychology
The official ETS website quotes as follows:
“GRE Subject Test scores are used by admissions or fellowship panels to supplement your undergraduate records, recommendation letters and other qualifications for graduate-level study. Some Subject Tests yield subscores that can indicate the strengths and weaknesses in an individual student's preparation and may also be useful for guidance and placement purposes.”
GRE Subject Test is Paper Based Test and held three times in a year i.e. September, October and April. The registration cost for GRE subject Test is $150. All other procedure to apply for GRE Subject Test is similar as that of GRE General
