Immunology is the study related to biology. The subject involves the study of the immune system, also known as the body's defense system. A person who specializes in Immunology is called Immunologist. He/She deals with both the normal and abnormal functioning of the body's defense system. Broadly speaking, an immunologist studies the immune system, either in humans or animals. They study how the immune system works, how environmental factors influence its functioning, how and why immune system disorders develop, and how to treat such disorders.
