Immunology is the study related to biology. The subject involves the study of the immune system, also known as the body's defense system. A person who specializes in Immunology is called Immunologist. He/She deals with both the normal and abnormal functioning of the body's defense system. Broadly speaking, an immunologist studies the immune system, either in humans or animals. They study how the immune system works, how environmental factors influence its functioning, how and why immune system disorders develop, and how to treat such disorders. Some examples of Immune System Disorders are severe allergies, asthma, lupus, and rheumatoid arthritis.

  • Establish experimental protocols and procedures relating to biology and efficacy of trial candidates.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders and vendor networks.
  • Senior immunologists often perform managerial tasks in addition to scientific tasks already within their scope.
