Study Visa for Liechtenstein

Liechtenstein possesses a great history of excellence in learning with many educational institutions. Studying in Liechtenstein is an increasingly popular choice for undergraduates from all over the world. To study in Liechtenstein, you may or may not require a visa. 

Students from EU/EEA and Switzerland need not apply for visa in order to study in Liechtenstein. But such students are required to get a short-term residency permit in order to get temporary residence in Liechtenstein for study purpose. Residence permit is issued by the immigration and passport office. Students from non-EU/EEA countries are required to apply for student visa in order to study in Liechtenstein. 

Lichtenstein and Switzerland share the same entry requirements. The provisions related to individuals requiring visa are similar. International students who require visa may submit an application to the Swiss representation in their country of residence. The Swiss authorities decide on the request and process it.

Acceptance letter: A letter of acceptance is issued by the educational institution where you have been accepted. It demonstrates that the applicant has been offered a place on a full time course of study at the concerned institution.

Proof of Financial Resources: Candidates must be able to provide proof of enough funds to support themselves in the country.

Course fee receipt indicating that you have paid the course fees in full

Health Insurance coverage: You must have a private medical insurance ad must submit a documentary proof of the same. 

Return/Onward ticket: At the end of the study period, you are required to return to your country or some other destination

Travel document: A valid passport

Accommodation proof: indicating that you've arranged for accommodation in the country.

Birth certificate copy

The visa process generally takes between 6-8 weeks.
